HackAP - Tribal Welfare
Alcove Partners, ā-Hub (AU Incubation Center) and TiE Vizag are happy to announce the seventh hackathon of our HackAP series of hackathons. The theme of this hackathon is Tribal Welfare.

Team Size: 2 - 5 members per team
Eligibility: Open to all
Area of Focus: Multi-disciplinary
Note: All the problems in this hackathon are problems provided by non-profit organizations working with tribals.
Prizes
  • Top 3 teams with a working solution will be awarded prizes.
  • Some winners can also expect incubation support in the form of space, mentoring, internships, job offers and more.
  • All participating teams that are present for the Valedictory will be awarded certificates of participation.
Facilities
  • Workspace for participating teams on Sunday 26 November 2023 from 9 AM to 4 PM.
  • Wi-Fi access (participants may also want to bring their own dongles in case they find the Wi-Fi speeds to be slow).
  • Refreshments, lunch & drinking water.

  • 10 AM: Hackathon launch
26 November 2023 (in-person at the ā-Hub)
  • 9 - 9:30 AM: Report to the ā-Hub first floor
  • Up to 2 PM: Solutions submission deadline
  • 2 - 3 PM: Judges decide top 5 teams
  • 3 - 4 PM: Presentations by top-5 teams
  • 4 - 4:30 PM: Judges deliberate
  • 4:30 PM - 5 PM: Awards and Valedictory
Rules
  • The hackathon will be conducted online from 9:30 AM on Saturday, 25 November 2023. On Sunday, 26 November 2023, all participating teams should report in person to the AU Incubation Center (ā-Hub) between 9 AM and 9:30 AM. Late comers may face space limitations.
  • The participants are to find a solution to one of the real-time problems. Participants should submit prototypes or a functional simulation of their solution.
  • The solutions must be the own work of participating teams.

  • Participants should have their own equipment that will help them develop a solution.
